The Bob Murray Housing with Love Walk is a seven-day walk spanning the length of Cape Cod, from Provincetown to Falmouth. Since its inception in 1993, the Walk has raised more than $4.5 million to help local agencies provide housing and prevent homelessness on Cape Cod.
2017 Walk Dates
The 24th annual Bob Murray Housing with Love Walk will begin on Monday, July 10, 2016 in Provincetown and end on Sunday, July 16, in Falmouth.
We invite you to be a part of this incredible journey. Join us along the route, sponsor someone walking, or donate directly to one of the organizations benefiting from the Walk.
A Special Tribute
Until his passing in 2013, Bob Murray, founder of the Falmouth Housing Corporation (FHC) and the Harwich Ecumenical Council for the Homeless (HECH), and an active member of the Family Pantry of Cape Cod and other vital Cape Cod nonprofit organizations would walk the entire length of Cape Cod, through all 15 towns, to bring awareness to the need for better housing opportunities.
Although Bob is no longer with us, his spirit and determination live on with all who support the Walk and in the network of agencies working to prevent homelessness on Cape Cod. Last year, as a tribute to Bob, representatives from the organizations that benefit from the Walk wore, in addition to the traditional yellow and green tee-shirts which highlight the Walk sponsors, a button with a photo of Bob. They will do so again this year to honor his memory and ensure that his mission lives on every step of the way.
With your support, the Housing with Love Walk will continue to help those in need and help them find the housing they need to be healthy, happy and productive members of our community.
