The Bob Murray Housing With Love Walk is a seven-day walk spanning the length of Cape Cod, from Provincetown to Falmouth. Since its inception in 1993, the walk has raised more than $3.6 million to help local agencies provide housing and prevent homelessness on Cape Cod.
We invite you to be a part of this incredible journey. Join us along the route, sponsor someone walking, or donate directly to one of the organizations benefiting from the walk.
2014 Walk Dates
The 22nd annual Bob Murray Housing with Love Walk will begin on Monday, July 14, 2014 in Provincetown and end on Sunday, July 20, in Falmouth.
A Special Tribute
Until last year, Bob Murray, founder of the Falmouth Housing Corporation (HAC) and the Harwich Ecumenical Council for the Homeless (HECH), and an active member of the Family Pantry of Cape Cod and other vital Cape Cod nonprofit organizations, would walk the entire length of Cape Cod, through all 15 towns, to create better housing opportunities for those in need.
Sadly, Bob passed away in 2013, but his spirit and determination lives on with all who support the walk and in the network of agencies working to prevent homelessness on Cape Cod. Bob’s well-worn sneakers are a poignant reminder of his determination and personal commitment to this cause. This year, as a tribute to Bob, representatives from the many organizations that will benefit from the walk will carry Bob’s sneakers during a portion of the walk. They will do so to honor his memory and ensure that his mission lives on every step of the way.
With your support, the Housing with Love Walk will continue to help those in need find the housing they need to be healthy, happy and productive members of our community.
Please donate today!
